For almost 40 years, the Somali Canadian Association of Etobicoke (SCA) has been committed to supporting individuals and families through inclusive community services. While rooted in serving the Somali community, SCA has grown to support African, Black, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, newcomer, and other diverse communities across our service areas.

Somali Seniors Programs

We help our seniors with many different problems that occur in their everyday life. Our senior programs give them a place to learn, grow and interact with the community. We give back to our seniors so that they can enjoy their hard-earned golden years. If you would like more information please contact us.

Youth Entrepreneurship Programs

For over 11 years, SCA’s Youth Entrepreneurship Program has supported young entrepreneurs by providing mentorship, business coaching, workshops, and opportunities to help turn their ideas into successful businesses

SCA proudly serves Somali, African, Black, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, newcomer, and other diverse communities across our service areas.
Our vision is to build strong, healthy, and connected communities where individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds have equal access to opportunities, support, and resources needed to thrive. While SCA was originally established to support the Somali community, our organization has evolved to serve a broader range of communities including African, Black, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, and newcomer populations.

The Somali Canadian Association takes pride in our diverse and thriving community. We hope to be a reflection of our community members values and represent them when organizing and planning our strategies for the future.
