Introduction

Somali Canadian Association of Etobicoke is a non-profit community based organization estabished in 1987.

The association is engaged in the provision of a wide range of services to Somali immigrants and refugees.

These services are aimed at assisting Somali newcomers adjust to the new way of life in Canada.

Through frequent seminars and workshops, the Association facilitates public awareness of the needs of the Somali community.

It also provides to government and social service organizations information on Somali cultural and traditional values so that the service delivery is sensitive to the needs of Somali clients.
